How it started

It started with a dodgy flatpack and six very judgy hens.

We built our first coop on a rainy Saturday with no instructions and too much confidence. The hens hated it. Honestly? Fair enough.

So we pulled it apart, started again, and built something they actually wanted to sleep in. Then we built another. And another. Five years later we're still at it — except now we also make the feeders, the waterers, the brooders, and all the bits in between that make backyard keeping genuinely joyful rather than a mild daily panic.

Everything we make, we've tested on our own flock. If our girls don't love it, it doesn't get made.

    Everything we design is for people who've named their chickens, know their personalities, and feel mildly guilty leaving for the weekend. That's our customer. That's us too.

  • Built to actually last

    We've seen enough warped wood and rusty hinges to know that cheap costs more in the long run. Every product is made to outlast the trend, the weather, and the occasional escape artist.

  • Design that doesn't embarrass your garden

    Backyard coops don't have to look like an afterthought. Ours are things your neighbours will ask about — in a good way, not the other kind.

We've lived every one of those mornings. So every product in our range exists because we needed it, and couldn't find a version we were happy with. Now you don't have to cobble it together from six different places. It's all here, and it all works together.
