How long does it take to assemble the Shelter Pro?
Most people complete assembly in 2-3 hours. All parts come pre-labeled (A, B, C system), and we include step-by-step instructions with diagrams. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver and optionally a rubber mallet. No power tools required.
How is this better than a wooden coop?
The Shelter Pro never rots, needs painting, or attracts termites. It cleans in minutes (vs. 30-60 minutes for wood), is mite-resistant, and lasts 3-4 times longer than wooden coops while requiring zero maintenance.
Will this work for ducks or other poultry?
While designed for chickens, the Shelter Pro can accommodate small ducks or quail. However, ducks are messier and may require more frequent cleaning. We recommend it primarily for chickens.
